NMSC & International Math Competition 2014

Mathematics and Science are very important in our technological and scientific age. Proficiency in mathematics or science is the gateway to jobs and careers of all kinds. We hope that by offering National Mathematics & Science Competitions (NMSC), we can challenge and inspire all students to want to learn more mathematics and science matters.

International Mathematics competition organized by KSEA and the Korean Scientists & Engineers Association in Austria, Canada and Singapore will be held this year and there will be awards for the international winners.

On April 12, 2014 , the 4th - 11th grade students will participate in the International Math Competition 2014 being offered in your local chapters of US, Canada, Austria and Singapore. With these contests, there are awards in each local chapter for the student with the highest score, certificates for high-scoring students in each country, and international awards.

The KSEA NMSC is dedicated to the goal of fostering the mathematical capabilities of all students.

NMSC & International Math Competition 2014 Schedule
Date: April 12, 2014 (Saturday) Math Test: 2:00 PM (EST) nationwide
(Please note that start and end times vary by organizing chapters)
Qualification: 4th - 11th grade students from US, Canada, Austria and Singapore schools
Online Registration: 2/10/2014 ~ 4/6/2014
Location: Event and Contact info of Local Chapters
Exam and Duration Math:
   4th - 8th graders: 50 min. with 25 questions
   9th - 11th graders: 75 min. with 25 questions

   9th - 11th graders: 75 min. with 12 questions

Note: Physics exam will have 8 mechanics and 4 electro-magnetism questions.
