Sebang Global Battery 

Sebang Global Battery, HQ located in South Korea, is currently looking for a talented/experienced lead acid battery R&D Engineer to work on material (alloy, plastics, etc.) development, ultra battery R&D, and overall lead acid battery development. The selected individual will be relocated to Changwon, South Korea for a duration of 12 months (with potential for contract renewal). Insurance, apartment, and meal (lunch/dinner depending on the work hours) will be provided, and salary is negotiable from $80,000 per year.

Mandatory Qualification

Degree

 Ph.Ds preferred (min. Master’s degree required)

Major

 Chemical Engineering, Metal Engineering, Electric Engineering

Experience

 10+ years experience in the field of lead-acid batteries & battery manufacturing/development; experience within corporate, organization, and/or universities preferred

Skills/Licenses

 Must be fluent in English

Language

 English(fluent), Korean(a plus, but not required)

Additional Requirements

 1. Extensive experience in lead acid battery manufacturing (JCI(VARTA), EXIDE, YUASA(GS-YUASA), Enersys, Eastpenn, etc) highly preferred

 2. Lead alloy specialist/researcher highly preferred

 3. Previous achievements in lead acid battery research (thesis, journal writings, publications,etc) highly preferred
