NMSC 2013

Mathematics and Science are very important in our technological and scientific age. Proficiency in mathematics or science is the gateway to jobs and careers of all kinds. We hope that by offering National Mathematics & Science Competitions (NMSC), we can challenge and inspire all students to want to learn more mathematics and science matters.

On April 13, 2013 , the 4th - 11th grade students will participate in the KSEA NMSC 2013 contest being offered in your state. With these contests, there are awards in each state for the student with the highest score, certificates for high-scoring students in each state, and nationwide awards.

The KSEA NMSC is dedicated to the goal of fostering the mathematical capabilities of all students.

 

NMSC 2013 Online Score Check will be available from May 1, 2013 - All participants will receive a notification email for the score check.

NMSC 2013 Schedule
Date: April 13, 2013 (Saturday) Math Test: 2:00 PM (EST) nation wide
(Please note that start and end times vary by organizing local chapters)
Qualification: 4th - 11th grade students from US and Canada schools
Online Registration: 2/15/2013 ~ 4/7/2013
Location: Event and Contact info of Local Chapters
Exam and Duration Math:
   4th - 8th graders: 50 min. with 25 questions
   9th - 11th graders: 75 min. with 25 questions
Physics:
   9th - 11th graders: 75 min. with 12 questions

Note: Physics exam will have 8 mechanics and 4 electro-magnetism questions.
